Sunday school is an important part of Bethel College Mennonite Church life. For children it is a time to learn about God, Jesus and Mennonite faith and values. For adults it is a place to affirm those values, study the Bible, discuss faith issues and interact with friends.

Our Sunday school groups meet from 10:50-11:45 a.m. Many gather at other times, too. These activities may include Bible study, doing mission or service projects, eating meals together, or going to movies or concerts.

You are welcome to attend Sunday school classes and participate in the many activities that enrich our church life. If you have questions, please feel free to phone the church office (316-283-3667).

Worship: Sundays 9:30 a.m. unless noted otherwise
Fellowship time: 10:30 to 10:50 a.m.
Christian Education hour: 10:50 to 11:45 a.m.

September 2009

Sept. 6: Worship with sermon by Heidi Regier Kreider and music by the Chancel Choir
            7:00 p.m. Bethel College Mennonite Church dessert reception for Bethel College students, faculty and staff and BCMC folks --BCMC
            Lawn - Everyone is encouraged to check out the newly remodeled campus ministry house at 2611 College Avenue that same evening!    This house will be a new venue for student spiritual life activities such as Bible study, prayer, hymn sings and a new BCMC Sunday school gathering.

Sept. 13: Worship with sermon by Ruth R. Harder and music by the Chancel Bells.

Sept. 20: Worship with sharing by Nathan Toews (Christian Peacemaker Team report) and music by the Chancel Choir.
              Nathan will also lead a Sunday school elective. All are invited to attend.
              Noon: A potluck lunch will be followed by our September congregational meeting at 12:45 p.m.

Sept. 27: Worship with Nelia and Calvin Kimbrough and music by the Junior Choir and Youth Bells.
              7:00 p.m. Ordination for Ruth R. Harder--Sanctuary
